花魁道中おいらんどうちゅう
こんにちは！
先週の週末、浅草はお祭り続きでした。
まず4/12土曜日は、花魁道中でござんす！
江戸時代、吉原の花魁・おいらん(ナンバーワン遊女)が、遊女屋からお茶屋までを、かむろや新造(花魁のアシスタント)を引き連れて向かうことを花魁道中といいました。
一回では花魁とは遊べません。お客は茶屋を通して、そこの座敷での顔見せを何回か経てようやく・・・という世界です。
料理、酒、席料など、そのつど大金が必要！！！
花魁とはお金持ちにしか遊べなかったんです
江戸幕府公認の遊郭はもともと、今の日本橋のはずれにありました。明暦の大火の後、今の吉原(浅草の北、千束、日本堤)に越してきました。
新吉原への転居の際に昼、夜の営業が認められ、客層もずいぶんと幅広くなりました。
昼間は、武士、夜は仕事を終えた商人、職人が多かったと本で読みました。ちなみに、お坊さんも遊びに来ていたそうで、吉原の門の脇には
『カツラ屋』があり、身分を隠していたんだとさ～～笑

8～12歳ほどで、花魁の身の回りのお世話をし、花魁から芸事を学びます。

美人ですね～
そして、花魁は歩き方も他とは違う！
→花魁の足元です
外八文字といって、外側を反らせて八の字を描くように歩きます。
私が、小学生のころまで、『松葉屋』さんという茶屋が残っていました。
今はマンションになってしまい残念です。
