ソロツーリングはさみしい
僕はいつもひとりでツーリングに行きます。
さみしいと感じたことは数えきれません。
このゴールデンウィークに、数年ぶりとなる複数でのツーリングをしてきました。
行先は実家の鹿沼から日光・川俣方面。
友人のひとりが、押さないとエンジンがかからないポンコツに乗ってきました。
休憩するたび、バイクを押して走りまわっています。(毎度二人がかりで)
そんななか、ガソリンをいれていつものように必死になってバイクを押しエンジンをかけました。
やっとのことエンジンは動きましたが、このあとバイクにまたがっていた友人は何を思ったかエンジンをOFFしました。
みんながポカーンとするなか、彼は「間違った。へへっ」と笑いました。たしかに笑っていました。
その後は順調に峠を上り下りしたり、牧場でソフトクリームを食べたり、そば湯を頑として出してくれないそば屋に行ったり。(そば湯は捨てちゃったそうです)
とくにこれと言った面白エピソードもなく帰路につきました。
翌日のことですが、僕は去年の誕生日に友人からもらったライターをそば屋に忘れてきたことを思い出します。
友人想いの僕ですので、往復3時間かけて昨日のそば屋に行きました。
道中、昨日の牧場でソフトクリームを食べてきました。
もちろん「ひとりで」です。
東京までの帰り道は4時間どしゃぶりでした。
