世界一売れていて、世界一燃費のいいバイク。
スーパーカブが誕生してから50年が経ちました。
そのスーパーカブですが、30km/h走行でガソリン1Lあたり110km～の走行をします。
普通に乗っていても60km～は走ることでしょう。
ちなみに、この数字も一昔前に比べると燃費がわるくなってるらしいです。
1Lで60km以上走るのに燃費がわるくなってるんです。
よくわからない話しですが、排ガス対策をした結果、燃費がわるくなったらしいですよ。
それでも素晴らしい数字です。
世界で6000万台売れるわけです。
郵便配達・お巡りさんのパトロール・新聞配達でも活躍してますし、農家では必需品でしょう。
まだあります。50年間形がほとんど変わっていないんです。
50年っていったら10歳だった子が60歳になる年月です。
見た目の変化はすごいものでしょう。
けどカブは変わらない。

あとエンジンのタフさですが、僕の実家にはカブと同じエンジンがのっている、1967年型のモンキーという
バイクがありまして、(とてもかわいいバイクです。)これと言って大きな修理や手入れをしていませんが、普通？に走ります。
※30km/hが限界ですが、原付だからそれでいいんです。本当にかわいいバイクです。
さらに、最近のカブはパンクもし難いんです。
チューブが二重になっていて、さらに『パンク防止液』という謎の液体まで注入されています。
こんなに優しい乗り物はほかにあるでしょうか？
スーパー・カブの半分以上は優しさで出来ていると思ってます。
